“To Fly”, the 21/22 Series
This series is inspired by transitions between natural and built landscapes that occur in contemporary life. The verb; ‘to fly’ communicates a suspension and a lightness, yet conversely a moment of hurtling through the air whilst seeing the world from an abstracted perspective.
All are original painted works on canvas using variations of acrylics, ink and soft and oil pastels.
